We spent the weekend at Silver Falls State Park. We went out of our comfort zone and rented a cabin. It was a far cry from a tent, but given that it rained almost the entire time, probably a good call on our part.
We spent some time experimenting with Crystal's new camera. Managed to figure out how to adjust the shutter speed to get those cool wispy water photos. It was a bit cold so we didn't see many people out and about, it was nice to have the trail basically to ourselves.
The falls were especially beautiful because of all the rain we have been receiving recently. At some parts the water was lapping up almost onto the trail.
This waterfall, Winter Falls, is almost non-existent during summer and fall. We got a wonderful view of it because of the additional rain.
