seeing 20/20

Hemorrhaged vessels from the surgery.
We are both enjoying Crystal's "new" eyes.
It has been a little over one week since Crystal's laser eye surgery. The entire process was amazing. The surgery itself took all of 15 minutes. Because of the trauma to the eyes she had to wear UV protective goggles for 24 hours. The purpose of these goggles was to protect her eyes, not to frighten small children.
Straight off the runways, baby.
Immediately after the surgery her vision was still blurry like looking through a window with water running down it. They told her to keep her eyes closed most of the day if possible, by that evening we went to a friend's house to watch a movie and her vision was pretty close to 20/20.
Loving getting those goggles off and seeing 20/20.

Since then she has seen the eye doctor for routine check-ups twice and her vision has been tested and consistent at 20/20. Her eyes are still healing and potentially will fluxuate over the next several months, but if all goes well will remain at 20/20 or better long term.

I am happy that the surgery accomplished the goal. I will pray that the 20/20 stays.
