pictures from anniversary getaway

We had a double anniversary getaway with Dany and Nadine as we share the same wedding anniversary (8/16). And just to make it fun we brought their kids AND Herma. We went to a beautiful hotel on the beach and had a wonderful time, here are some pictures from the trip:
Sitting by the beach, just taking in the view.
View of the ocean from the pool bar.
The patio to our room, which was pool side.
The view from our patio, see the pool?
This is the view when you come down the stair entrance of the hotel.

Our room, complete with AC and THE BEST shower hands down. The water pressure and heat on this thing was AMAZING! Our first hot shower in over 6 months.
We ate our meals between the pool and the ocean. It was beautiful with all the ethnic table clothes and shiny glasses. We wore our swim suits all day, everyday. Scotty even shaved for the occasion...fancy.
The hotel had two pools, this it he pool by the bar, the other pool is opposite it and next to the restaurant.
Getting ready to soak up some sun and then once we got hot, run into the ocean and body surf the waves.
Coke *wink* by the pool. The weather was perfect, warm but not so hot that you sweat like crazy.
Bikini smilie face on my towell.Jenna, this is for you...the food. This is Yassa with Jenn (Onion sauce with fish).
This is a french cream puff, kind of like those cream puffs from Costco (Jenn, I was thinking of you).
Breakfast by the ocean. Clean white china never looked so good.
Nadine with Gabrielle (can you tell which one is the mom?)
Crystal and Nev.
The stairs entrance/exit of the hotel, so sad to leave.
K, it's official, we have to leave now, we just paid the bill, so sad.
After all the beauty in the hotel, it' s nice to get slapped back into reality by the meat market just outside the hotel.
Road trip music, thanks Casey.
Road tripping back to Malika (only an 1 1/2 drive) and so thankful that we got to just be passengers.

so nice you could get away and have fun! Bring home some good spices and such that we can't get here. I have a lot to learn from you about Sen. cooking.
